Aims&Scope
The journal Revue d’Analyse Numérique et de Théorie de l’Approximation (ANTA) was founded in 1972.
At present it appears in one volume a year, consisting of 2 issues with a total average number of pages yearly of 250.
- It is indexed abstracted in Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt für Mathematik.
The journal publishes original papers, preferably written in English, but also in French, German or Italian, in any area of numerical analysis and approximation theory.
- The topics cover: numerical linear algebra, nonlinear algebraic or transcendental equations, numerical analysis in abstract spaces, numerical methods for ordinary differential equations and for partial differential equations, numerical problems in dynamical systems, integral equations, mathematical programming, optimization and variational techniques, probabilistic methods, computer aspects of numerical algorithms, best approximation, uniform approximation, interpolation, and applications to different areas of sciences.
In addition to presenting research papers, ANTA publishes the proceedings of international conferences held in Romania, survey articles, excellent Ph. D. theses and book reviews.
- The Editors will put strong emphasis on originality and applicability of the results. All manuscripts are strictly refereed and only papers of high quality are accepted for publication.
- The journal is addressed to all applied mathematicians and other specialists interested in modern developments of numerical analysis and approximation theory, and in their using in research, teaching and technology.
The journal has at present numerous subscriptions and exchanges with reputed journals all over the world.
